A deposit of $600 per person is required to reserve a space. If you register by December 24, 2007, deduct $100 from your deposit. After December 24, the deposit is $600. We encourage you to register early. Registering early makes the tour much more likely to succeed. The sooner you register, the sooner we will know that we are going and increases the possibility that you may use your frequent flier miles. You can help by spreading the word to your friends - ask them to sign up now! Ten (10) participants are required as a minimum; the group is limited to 15 plus a host and a driver/guide. As always, the itinerary is subject to change. |

This is a custom garden tour. Please call if you have ANY questions regarding the tour. Be sure to read "About the Tours" and "Frequently Asked Questions" before registering. Please Note: Do NOT purchase airline tickets, passports, or any other non-refundable materials until you have been notified IN WRITING that the minimum participant requirement has been met (the minimum is ten (10) participants). This is for your safety! Included in the tour: Admission and transportation to and from the gardens and hotels together with the services of a driver and tour host(s); pick-up will be at London, Gatwick airport (time and location TBD); independent or late arrivals must make their way to the first garden or first hotel on their own. Instructions for meeting the coach at the airport will be sent to you in advance, once the minimum has been met. One trip to London Gatwick Airport will be arranged for the majority of participants. All breakfasts, two lunches, one spa treatment, and one dinner (as noted in itinerary), and porterage of ONE MEDIUM bag and ONE SMALL carry-on per participant are included. A medium bag is approximately 25X19X9 (or 4,275 cu.in.) to approximately 27X20X11 (or 5,940 cu. in.). A large bag is 36X24X11 (or 9,504 cu.in.). If you bring a large bag, it will be loaded last, and you might have to pay a taxi to carry it to our next destination. Our coach has VERY limited room, and you may end up holding your luggage. Also, remember that when you depart British airports, you are allowed only ONE bag on board. Your pocketbook, computer, camera case, etc., count as one bag each! Bring a small duffle bag and make sure your pocketbook, camera, etc. all fit in it. Your other luggage must be checked. Lunch is generally on your own and usually in the gardens, but occasionally we stop at grocery stores, delis or pubs and let you wander. We do not make reservations for lunch unless noted in the itinerary. Accommodations are in 3, 4, and 5-star hotels, in twin-bedded rooms with private facilities. Prices are based on double occupancy in twin-bedded rooms. King and queen-size beds are not available. European hotel rooms are nearly always smaller than American rooms, especially in London. Please note that many European hotels do NOT have air-conditioning. Our coach comes with air-conditioning and/or forced air and seats 16, not counting the driver. Tour does not include charges for passport, visas, tourist cards; charges for excessive baggage; cancellation, health, accident or baggage insurance; charges for room service; items of a personal nature, i.e. laundry and phone bills; meals unless noted; liquor, wine, soft beverages, bottled water; end-of-tour tips to driver, wait staff and bellmen. Transfers from and to the airports are not included except as noted in the itinerary. Extensions, add-ons and other services by the participant’s travel agent, or by the participant, but are not included in the tour as outlined in the itinerary. Copper Beech Ventures, LLC, is not a travel agency, and does not offer services beyond what is listed in the itinerary. Payment Schedule: The deposit for the tour is $500 per person if you register by December 24, 2007. After December 24, 2007, the deposit is $600. The price for "Hampton Court Flower Show" tour is $6,250 per person for ground only, based on the above. Airfare is not included. The single supplement is $1,070. There are four (4) single rooms and six (6) double rooms. Balances are payable in full on April 2, 2008 (12 weeks before the tour). Cancellations and withdrawals: If the tour does not reach its minimum (10 participants) and is cancelled for that reason, all deposits will be refunded, except surcharges for credit card use. If you pay with a credit card, the surcharges are NOT refundable, even if the tour is cancelled as these fees have already been paid to PAYPAL. Balances are due April 2, 2008, approximately 12 weeks before departure on July 1, 2008. The tour will close on April 2, 2008 unless 10 participants have registered. There is a $200 administrative fee assessed if you withdraw from the tour after your deposit has been paid. From 4-8 weeks prior to departure, any individual canceling within this period will be charged a 50% cancellation fee; from 2-4 weeks prior to departure, any individual canceling within this period will be charged a 75% cancellation fee. If cancellation is made less than 2 weeks prior to departure, the full cost of the tour will be forfeited. Once the trip commences, there are NO REFUNDS of any kind. There are no refunds for any portion of the tour for which you opt out. Credit card surcharges are not refunded. I strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. You may use the form sent with your deposit acknowledgement or you may register through a link on my site. See the Travel Insured link in the Registration Form above. Credit Cards: I am now accepting credit card payments made through PAYPAL only. Please note: There is a surcharge of 3.2% to use credit cards, which is passed on to you. You must register with PAYPAL to use this service (see link below). If you would like to avoid the surcharge, you may pay by check. Many credit card companies offer checks based on your charge account, and I am happy to accept these checks from you. Call the number on your credit card or statement. Currency Fluctuations: Prices are based on the currency exchange rate at time of posting and subject to change due to fluctuation. The British pound exchange rate was .49512 on Monday, August 13, 2007 (US dollar to the pound was 2.02). Pre- and Post-Tour Extensions and Flights: Neither Linda McHam nor Copper Beech Ventures, LLC, are travel agents and can not make your extensions for you. I recommend that you contact our hotels directly to extend your trip, or use your favorite travel agent to help you. I have recommended travel agents in the past, but have not had much success doing this. I find that it is just as simple, and more reliable, if you speak with the hotels yourself. Tour Conditions: Ground arrangements by British Heritage Tours (BHTours). Copper Beech Ventures, LLC, and Linda McHam,Tour Host, act only as agents for the passenger with respect to transportation, hotels and restaurants, and exercise every care possible. BHTours and Tour Host can assume no responsibility to any person or entity for liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, breakdown, disruption of advertised schedules, delay or irregularity in connection with the service of any ship, ferry, airplane, train, automobile, motor coach, carriage, or any other conveyance used in carrying out these tours, or for the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expense due to delay, refusal of visa or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, violent acts, quarantine, acts of God or any other causes beyond our control. All such losses will have to be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. General Disclaimer: Tour Host and Ground Operator reserve the right to make such alterations to the itinerary or accommodations as may be deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour. The right is reserved to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case the entire payment will be refunded without further obligation on our part. The right is reserved to DECLINE to ACCEPT or RETAIN any person as a member of the tour. No refund will be made for the unused portion of any tour. The price of the program is based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect on August 13, 2007 (British pound = .49512), and is subject to adjustment in the event of change in tariffs, taxes or exchange rates. Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely. Please read "About the Tours" and "Frequently Asked Questions" BEFORE registering.
